Takeaways:
PBS FRONTLINE is out with a new special titled America and the Taliban. Parts One and Two are available on YouTube. The documentary is a holistic reflection on our two decade war in Afghanistan. It’s the most powerful thing I’ve watched recently. I highly recommend it.
The documentary left me with a sense of outrage over our strategic incompetence that’s so clear in hindsight and hopeless that we as a nation will actually internalize the lessons that are so painfully evident.
Make some time this weekend to watch, and share it with a friend if it resonates with you. As the saying goes, if we fail to learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it.
